Big Ideas. Little Thinkers.

The Teaching Children Philosophy library invites educators to use children’s literature as a springboard for curious, thoughtful conversations. With nearly 300 guides for grades K–5—and a growing set for middle-grade readers—you’ll find clear, age-appropriate questions that help young learners explore ethical and philosophical ideas woven into their favorite stories. You can also browse curated collections on themes like fairness, friendship, courage, and identity. Many guides are available in Spanish, with more translations added all the time.

You can browse the library alphabetically by default, adjust the sorting settings, filter by topical category or grade level, or search by author, title, and key themes. If you don’t see the book you have in mind, let us know—we’re always developing new guides and welcome your suggestions. You can contact us to request a book for future development or even submit your own original guide for consideration.
