Celebrating a Successful High School Educator Retreat
The Prindle Institute welcomed educators from across the midwest and the country for an intensive week of learning and collaboration on the project of integrating ethics education methods and materials into high school classrooms. Educators teaching in grades 9-12 across a wealth of disciplines spent three days at the Institute and for our 2024 High School Educator Retreat, and enjoyed a full program of workshops with Prindle staffers on moral foundations and frameworks, case-based reasoning, models and methods for dialogical teaching, collaborative lesson planning, and more. Educators also worked with special guest facilitators Sarah Vitale (Ball State University) and William McCoy (Clemson University), as well as Prindle Post News Analysts Nick Kreuder, Giles Howdle, and Evan Arnet.
Thanks to all our teachers for joining us this year! Learn more about the Educator Retreat, and consider applying for the 2025 cohort, here.
