Voices and Votes: Public Debate on Compulsory Voting

October 15 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at The Prindle Institute for Ethics 2961 W County Road 225 S
Greencastle, IN 46135 United States

Is voting a duty?

As part of the Voices and Votes exhibition programming, join the Prindle Institute for Ethics on October 15 from 5:30–7 PM for a public debate on compulsory voting. Should democratic participation be required by law? Does a meaningful vote depend on the freedom not to cast one? These are live questions in democracies around the world, and this event brings them into the open. Free and open to the public.
