Li Montalvo, Stuff of Thought

Stuff of Thought, a solo painting exhibition by Li Montalvo, is on view at the Prindle Institute for Ethics from August 7 through October 2. Rooted in the idea of a “sacred pause,” Montalvo’s paintings explore the quiet space between seeing and responding, the moment where our habits of mind come into view. Set against the Institute’s contemplative landscape, the exhibition invites visitors to slow down, look carefully, and consider how attention itself shapes understanding.
