IEBOnline Regional Competition
Ethics Bowl, without the borders.
IEBOnline returns to the Prindle Institute for Ethics on Saturday, November 7, 2026, bringing together college and university teams from across the country for a day of rigorous, good-faith debate on real-world ethical challenges. Conducted entirely online via Zoom, the competition features 18 teams competing in three preliminary rounds, a semifinal elimination round, and a championship match, all centered on the full APPE IEB Regional Case Set. Top finishers will earn bids to the APPE IEB National Championship. Team registration opens in September 2026 through the main APPE IEB website, with priority given to teams designating IEB Online as their qualifying event; all registrations are due by October 23, 2026. Interested in judging or moderating instead? No prior Ethics Bowl experience is required, and training is provided in advance.
