Courageous Conversations in Ethics: The Ethics of Capitalism

February 86:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Watson Forum 609 S. Locust Street
Greencastle, 46135 United States

Humberto Barreto, Professor of Economics and Management, Caitlin Howlett, Assistant Professor of Education Studies, and Erik Wielenberg, Professor of Philosophy, will present and discuss contrasting perspectives on the ethics of capitalism in a public forum moderated by Joseph Porter, Nancy Schaenen Endowed Visiting Scholar of Ethics.

Courageous Conversations in Ethics is an event series examining challenging moral and political issues from a variety of perspectives. These conversations are not traditional debates but rather opportunities for people with different perspectives on the same issue to come together for productive dialogue. Each Courageous Conversation in Ethics features a moderated discussion among two or more discussants followed by an opportunity for audience members to ask questions and engage in the discussion themselves.

The discussion will begin at 6:30 PM and is followed by a reception with refreshments.
