When US News and World Report created its 2020 Best Colleges Rankings, it noted the Prindle Institute for Ethics as one of the factors that make DePauw University worthy of inclusion. 

In its listings for DePauw – which earned a place on six US News lists – the media outlet included the Prindle Institute as one of the university’s attributes. Citing the institute’s location in the DePauw Nature Park, US News described the Prindle Institute as a place “where students, faculty and visiting scholars can debate moral decisions in a serene setting.”

DePauw earned a place on a wide range of 2020 Best Colleges Rankings lists: 

• 44th among “Best Value Schools” 
• 46th among national liberal arts colleges
• 50th among “Most Innovative Schools”
• 60th” on the “Best Undergraduate Teaching” list
• 88th for first-year experiences
• 148th among “Top Performers in Social Mobility”
