This past Saturday, February 1, the Prindle Institute hosted the 11th Annual Indiana High School Ethics Bowl (IHSEB). Over 150 students from all across Indiana and the surrounding areas (as well as nearly 50 volunteers from the DePauw and Greencastle communities) converged on the DePauw campus for a fun if intensive day of tough conversations about the issues that matter. After a hard-fought competition, St. Ignatius College Prep High School of Chicago, IL was named the IHSEB’s Grand Champion, winning a nail-bitingly close Championship Match against the University of Chicago Laboratory School. Semi-finalist placement trophies were awarded to Culver Academies (Culver, IN) and Greencastle High School (Greencastle, IN). We look forward to welcoming St. Ignatius and other teams from across the Midwest to the NHSEB 2025 Central Divisional Playoffs February 11-13, and to welcoming our full community back to campus next year for IHSEB 2026.
