Classroom Collections

From our headlines to your classroom.

Our classroom collections are designed to make ethical inquiry approachable, engaging, and practical. Each collection pairs timely readings from The Prindle Post with discussion questions and activities that help students slow down, examine their assumptions, and learn how to reason together. Start with big questions, invite multiple perspectives, and move from opinions to reasons—these resources are built to support thoughtful dialogue, real-world connections, and meaningful reflection in any classroom.

Naughty, Nice, and Checking Things Twice

Winter 2025

This winter collection invites students to take a closer look at the moral questions that surface during the holiday season—and beyond. Through three accessible essays from The Prindle Post, students explore ethical issues surrounding consumption, complicity, responsibility, and moral judgment, using familiar examples like holiday shopping, Christmas dinner, and Santa’s famous list. Paired with discussion questions and classroom-ready activities, the collection is designed to spark curiosity, encourage disagreement for good reasons, and help students practice ethical reasoning in a structured, engaging way.

Fear, Death, and the Unknown

Fall 2025

Fear, Death, and the Unknown invites students to grapple with some of the most unsettling—and enduring—ethical questions we face. Using real-world cases involving extreme attractions, dark tourism, and emerging technologies, this fall collection asks what consent really means, how curiosity can cross moral lines, and what obligations we have when confronting mortality and human limits. With accessible essays from The Prindle Post and classroom-ready activities, the collection is designed to spark careful reflection, lively discussion, and deeper ethical reasoning around the things that frighten us most.
