Ethics Workshops for Every Setting

This year, the Prindle Institute is offering a refreshed slate of robust workshops designed to help people think more clearly, speak more openly, and navigate complex ethical questions with confidence. From high school classrooms to college campuses to professional workplaces, the Institute’s workshops meet people where they are—and invite them to think more deeply about what they value and why.

For grades 9–12, the Institute’s workshops bring big ideas to life in ways that are relevant and engaging for students. Through interactive activities, compelling case studies, and thoughtful reflection, students learn to recognize ethical dilemmas, talk through disagreements, and explore the roots of their own civic and moral beliefs. Whether you’re teaching government, English, leadership, or social studies, these sessions—like Ethical Tipping Points and Mapping Values with Civic Self Portraits—help students practice the kind of careful thinking and respectful dialogue that civic life demands.

On the DePauw campus, the Institute partners with faculty, student groups, and campus leaders to offer workshops that deepen ethical awareness and strengthen community dialogue. In classrooms, sessions like Making the Case and Ethics Gone Wrong help students build practical skills for analyzing complex problems and engaging productively across lines of disagreement. For student organizations and leadership teams, workshops focused on values clarification and disagreement navigation help groups build trust, improve communication, and stay grounded in their shared purpose.

For professional audiences, the Institute offers tailored workshops that translate complex ethical frameworks into tools for real-world decision-making. Designed with the realities of professional life in mind, these sessions help teams navigate value conflicts, communicate across difference, and lead with clarity and integrity. Whether you’re managing a team, serving clients, or shaping policy, workshops like When Values Collide and Tools for Navigating Disagreement give professionals the space—and the structure—to think through what’s at stake and how best to move forward.

Wherever you’re working, learning, or leading, the Institute’s workshops offer space to pause, reflect, and grow. And in a world full of hard questions, that kind of space matters more than ever. Check out our workshop offerings and book yours today!
