Marta Nunes da Costa

Marta is a Professor of Philosophy at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Ph.D. in Political Science (New School for Social Research, 2006) she does research on the intersection between politics and morals, as well as on the relationship between human nature, science and technology. In her last book entitled Democratic Despotisms (2022, Cambridge Scholars) Marta discusses the totalitarian tendencies in contemporary democracies and its anthropological, political and moral implications.
