Alan H. Goldman is the William R. Kenan Jr.Professor of Humanities and Professor of Philosophy at the College of William & Mary. Before joining the faculty there in 2002, he taught for twenty-five years at the University of Miami. He was educated at Yale (BA), Columbia (PhD), and Princeton (NEH Fellowship).
