By Rachel Hanebutt
30 Oct 2014
Come out to Prindle on Tuesday, November 4 at 7 PM for a screening of the film Kids for Ca$ha riveting, non-fiction thriller about a judicial scandal that shocked America when it catapulted to the headlines in January of 2009, and lead to the wrongful jailing of over 3,000 kids.  The issue of zero tolerance policies and incarceration of juveniles is of incredible interest to any individual who studies, works, or cares about children.

A short panel discussion with Circuit Court Judge Matt Headley, Monica Fennell, Rebecca Bordt and Rebecca Alexander will follow the documentary screening.

This event is free, open, and highly encouraged to the Putnam County community and all DePauw students, faculty, and staff.  A shuttle for Prindle will leave the Hub at 6:45 and return after the panel discussion for any student who needs transportation to the event.  Questions about the event, transportation, or panel discussion can be directed to Rachel Hanebutt.
